Introducing the QK65 Mk3 — The Next Evolution of the Wireless Mechanical Keyboard with Screens
It is time. Qwertykeys has officially unveiled the QK65 Mk3, the newest generation of its iconic 65% line — and it is easily the most advanced model yet. Blending premium materials, innovative engineering, and fully interactive visual features, the Mk3 sets a new benchmark for what a wireless mechanical keyboard can be in 2025.
Whether you are a long-time QK fan or discovering the brand for the first time, this release delivers a fresh wave of nostalgia, performance, and pure custom-keyboard joy.
The group buy is open from 12:00pm on 28 November 2025 to 12:00pm on 19 December 2025 (AEDT). Once it ends, production begins—and the next opportunity to secure a QK65 Mk3 may not come anytime soon. If this keyboard is on your wishlist, now is the time.
A Premium Build with Retro Charm
The Mk3 arrives in five stunning colours, each housed in a fully CNC-machined aluminium case paired with a stainless steel PVD weight featuring QK’s cyber dog emblem. Every colourway takes inspiration from vintage consoles and early-era gaming aesthetics — a subtle tribute to the formative years of online play.
A Keyboard with Screen Interaction Like No Other
One of the standout elements of the QK65 Mk3 is its rich display system. This is not just a keyboard that has a screen — it is a keyboard with screen experiences.
You get:
- Dynamic Island with custom foreground and background GIFs
- Cat and Dog typing animations reacting to your keystrokes
- Dot-matrix screens from the QK80/QK101
- The new Animal Supermarket mini-game, a fun typing challenge built right in
These features turn the Mk3 into a playful, interactive desk companion that changes mood, reacts to your typing style, and adds personality to every session.
Tri-Mode Performance That Goes Anywhere
Thanks to its wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz tri-mode connectivity — powered by dual 3100mAh batteries — the Mk3 offers a seamless wireless typing experience across multiple devices. Whether you are gaming, working, or hot-swapping between profiles, the Mk3 delivers stable, low-latency input wherever you need it.
Superior Sound & Typing Feel Through Engineering Innovation
The new PCB Gasket Structure replaces the traditional mounting plate by allowing the PCB itself to act as the sole support point. This results in:
- A softer, more uniform typing feel
- A cleaner, more “thocky” acoustic signature
- More consistent switch response across the board
Combined with an expanded acoustic chamber and configurable acoustic foam kit (IXPE, PET, plate foam), the Mk3 is engineered to sound as good as it types.
Knobs, Plates, PCBs & Endless Personalisation
The QK65 Mk3 is built for customisation:
- Functional dual knobs for OS switching and connectivity control
- Four PCB options (ANSI/ISO, 6.25U/7U)
- Five plate materials (ALU, FR4, PP in both flex/non-flex cuts)
- Plate-mount or PCB-mount stabiliser compatibility
- Matching keycap sets for all five colourways
Every Mk3 keycap set includes 70 free Rye switches, and early buyers (within the first three weeks) will also receive a Consoles Artisan Keycap valued at AUD $49.
A Tribute to the Original QK65 — Reborn for 2025
The original QK65 helped ignite a generation of keyboard enthusiasts. The Mk3 pays homage to that legacy while embracing modern innovation. Unboxing it feels like rediscovering the magic of custom keyboards all over again — colours, textures, screens, sounds, and surprises waiting at every step.
Whether you are building your daily driver, upgrading your gaming setup, or expanding your collection, the QK65 Mk3 brings a new depth of creativity and performance to the 65% category.
