The switches, foam, comfort, quality and sound is as shown in the videos.
I wanted a keyboard that was Creamy with a certain level of thock- and colour me a very happy customer!
I've recommended this product to my friends and family.
If there was a single thing I'd consider a little annoying is the Bluetooth on and off switch location and size 😅
Otherwise I would definitely recommend this keyboard if your in the office a lot and perfect compact even for gaming.
Best investment! Cough don't forget to claim back on tax if you work in any office job - or have family write it off 👍👍
I really enjoy using this keyboard, it feels good, the sound it makes is quite good and I love the finish of the spraycoated pink plus.
However, upon trying to customise with VIA, nowhere was there a warning saying VIA cannot be used to configure the wireless functionality of this keyboard.
In fact as I write this review, in the advertising material, it states that there's "Wireless VIA"
But users online, in the QMK Discord, and in the ShortCut discord, I've been told you cannot change the config in VIA.
In fact it's been told to me that configuring the board's wireless layout and config is a real pain and not easy for even intermediate users.
This was extremely disappointing. There was also a lack of a manual telling the user about shortcuts, for example, regarding Function Lock, and how to enable and disable it.
There is no email support from ShortCut and the presence of anyone from the Manufacturer in their discord is rather scarce. I felt I was buying the right keyboard for someone new to more "custom" type boards, but alas, I think I bet on the wrong horse here.
Happy with Beserkeys support, they were really helpful when I initially got the board, but this review rating is strictly a criticism of the ShortCut board and the companies claims of what it can/can't do and lack of documentation.
And the delivery speed from Berserkeys was surprisingly fast - it just took 3 days from ordering to receiving my dream keyboard! Thank you!
The RGB lighting is vibrant but not overwhelming, and the minimalist design fits perfectly in any setup. My only suggestion is thicker keycaps, but that’s a minor issue.
For the price, this keyboard delivers top-tier features and performance. Highly recommended for both beginners and enthusiasts!
I've been using this daily for about a month now, and it still blows me away every time a new hall effect board is announced or released with a higher price tag, and less pure value.
The finish and build quality is next level, leagues above any other keyboard I've used at and above this price point. Performance and latency in Valorant/Osu is great as was well
If you want a hall effect keyboard, but also want to daily drive something that looks, feels and sounds enthusiast, this is your end game.
I've been using a Filco Majestouch TKL for the last 15+ years with old Cherry Brown switches, totally oblivious to the advancements in mech boards. I recently tried a couple of modern offerings (RK M75, Ducky One3 mini) and this is leagues ahead of them all in terms of OOB feel, for not a great jump in cost.
The switches are smooth, the keycaps are nice, and alongside the internal damping it sounds like I'm tapping on marble. It feels comfortable and I have no intention to swap the switches, unlike the RK M75.
I take it to and from work so I can use it more often.
