This was was first foray into Hall Effect, and I have been impressed with this keeb from day one. My only complaint was the spacebar was rather on the poor-sounding side. Beyond that, the rest both feels and sounds terrific.

This is my third keyboard, previous was a rk84. All I have to say is if you want a keyboard that sounds and feels really good out of the box this is the way to go. This genuinely feels like the biggest upgrade from the rk84, typing just feels smoother and the sounds are on another level.
I wish I had this keyboard during uni, all I want to do is keep typing on this keyboard and never stop.

I'm not new to mechanical keyboards. I've owned a few and they all had their flaws. I wanted a keyboard with a solid chasis and hot swappable switches as bare minimum. After lots of research, the Evo80 sat at the top of a fairly short list at this price range. Whilst it might seem expensive, the build quality is easily the best I've held. It's obvious from the unboxing that a lot of care and attention has been placed on quality control.
The sound, out of the box, is amazing. Its a marble like creamy thock that I've been chasing for many years and I didnt have to tweak anything to get it. At some point i will experiment with different switches, but for now... this is exactly the sound I've been chasing.
Delivery was fast, when the product eventually came into stock. Support was excellent, timely and professional, when I asked a delivery question.
I will buy another evo80 for work. It's that good.

This is my first 75% keyboard after using a full sized for years, and it is very nice. The only issue I have encountered is about 3 faulty switches that I had to replace with the replacements provided with the keyboard within a week of receiving the keyboard, so I am not sure if I had a bad batch or if this is normal.

If some of the switches do not work, in most cases, it means the pins undernearth have been bent so they do not insert into the sockets of the PCB properly.



You can easily resolve the issue by swapping to replacement switches, or straighten the two pins of the affected switches using tools like pliers, and then place the switches back to the keyboard to test if they work as normal.
